Always a first time

The week past has been a challenging one to say the least. For the first time, our boy has fallen ill. He suffered from bouts of fever, “phelgmy cough” and a runny nose. We were thankful though, that even in his discomfort, he manages to eat well, sleep well and even play well occasionally, albeit his obvious loss of that familiar, playful sparkle in his eyes. Gastric Flu with mild throat infection we were told.

It pains our hearts as parents to see the little one in so much discomfort. Just last night, he spent the whole night crying and we really do not know what was wrong with him. We took turns to carry him, sang to him and prayed with him through the night. When he woke in the morning, it was as though he remembered nothing of the long night as he settled straight into his routine of reaching for the remote control, switching on the TV and watching his favourite channel, Playhouse Disney!

I am glad to say that Nathaniel has finally turned the corner and is on the road to recovery. 5 days ago, we knew something was wrong when he refused to take his favourite bath.

I am sure now he is back to his best now!

I was with him two short mornings before I left for office, he did not forget to entertain his yeye with his drum set. He is the boy whom “people see people love”.

Glad to hear that little Nat boy is well now.
It really pains our heart when our babies are sick.
I totally agree with you when you said that he’s a “people see people love” boy.
Any good news coming along ?? 妹妹 ??
