That was that the paed called it.
When Nathaniel decided to be picky with his food, we decided that we would stay cool about it. All of a sudden, he has decided not to eat his meals which mummy, grandma and helper so painstakingly prepared. We could not isolate the reason for his sudden fussiness as we tried all ways to whet his diminished appetite. Sweetened, Salted, Seasoned, Fusion, we tried it all. But he just wasn’t interested.
He had some food that he would most definitely eat, and he was surviving on those for about a month. White rice, strawberries, apples, bananas and eggs.
We weren’t so cool anymore after awhile.
Last week, we brought him to the paed. Doctor gave him a clean bill of health albeit noticing that he has not gain any weight since the last time we visited her (2 months ago). So we were sent home with a bottle of multi-vitamins/appetizer. We also decided to add PediaSure to his daily diet to ensure he has enough nutrition. We also increased his dosage of pro-biotics.
Thank God, out of the battery of methods used, something worked. His appetite is back! I never thought I would punch the air in delight when I received an SMS in office that my son was eating well, but I did.
Some photos to share.
