Jab Weekend
Nathaniel had his second of his three 6 in 1 vaccination over the weekend. Dr Tan jabbed him as we distracted him with the spider mobile over his head and guess what, other than a sudden reflex reaction, he resumed smiling at the spider mobile. Boy, were we proud of him. Not a single tear was shed! He has grown another 800gms since the last time we visited the paed, and grown about 5cm which was good, so well done mummy! Thank God there was no fever this time round, and for the first time yesterday Nathaniel was able to soothe himself to sleep without any rocking or patting or nursing. We thought it may be because of the jab, but he did it again today. Hmm, smart boy. 
And for about 2 weeks, Nathaniel has been sleeping from about 930-10pm right through to 630-7am the next morning. We feel so blessed as parents.
Well, there are of course times when Nathaniel fusses (either for sleep, feed or for our attention), but it is nothing compared to the joy he gives us when he breaks into that charming smile of his. I thank God everyday for blessing us with this little boy we call our son.
