I brought home a Santa Claus savings bank for nat end of last year and started giving him coins to put in. Somewhat a fund for his Christmas present.
I give him the small coins (10-cents and 20-cents) to help finetune his motor-skills and accuracy in slotting. Huh huh. Actually more so cos the 50-cents and $1 coins are for my coin-bank!
I spied some $2 notes (and $1 coins) inside recently and I realised, my mum has been contributing to this Christmas fund of his too, whenever she pops by. Wah, spoil market leh, my mother!
Of cos, Nat is the smartest. Now he just takes my wallet out of my bag, and empty all the coins into his coin bank.

my son does that too when he sees me emptying his daddy’s wallet. we will always empty our loose change at end of the day and donate to my boy’s coin box.
then i will bank the coins in every month into his POSB kids a/c since they will waive off bank chrg

J does that too! he goes straight for our wallets. no dilly-dallying waiting for coins anymore!
