Thanks to Nat, we get to eat superfood for dinner today – chicken with quinoa.
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever been this fussed over diet & menu planning. Especially when tehpeng ask “what are we(or Nat) eating?l”. Usually, I’m the one asking that question!
Anyway, for a first time trial, it was actually palatable!
And he kinda took to it. Even if he was eating it the way he pleases – like this…
…licking food off the plate.
I’ll work on the etiquette later. One battle at a time. I’m just thankful he ate.
Confession :: tv watching does help too and I know, that is not recommended but hey, whatever works and as long as I’m not chasing him all over to eat his food….

haha yes it does help for a while, cos they will be so concentrated on the tv, you can stuff food into their mouth and keep reminding them to chew.
But sadly after a while it doesn’t work anymore.

Noey has to eat with dinner entertainment ala Papa doing ball tricks, etc. Sigh. These kids! But you’re right, no chasing them all over to eat!

I’m still sticking to my no TV during mealtimes rule but it means that I hv to entertain her by reading books (we easily go though close to 15books each meal!), or letting her sit near the window so we can people/dog-watch.
